The Opportunity
On the internet these days you will find any number of network marketing opportunities that promise easy, quick wealth. Others will be a bit more honest and say that it will take some effort and some time. This, of course, is much closer to the truth.
Do I offer something different?
In the years that I have worked with different companies and promoted their products, I have learned some universal truths. You need to not only have a great product, but there needs to exist a demand for that product. If you want to have a business that is going to be able to sustain itself, that product will be so good that people will want to use it for the rest of their lives. It just so happens that the company that I promote full time has that kind of product line. With the web site that you are on now, you will see that I emphasize nutritional support for active people. I could just as easily promote children's health, nutritional support of active seniors, air purfication, water purfication, etc. This company has fantastic depth, an unsurpassed history and a brillant future.
What about the business opportunity?
You can have the best products on the planet, but if you do not have a simple, duplicatable process for showing others how it works, you could be the best salesperson on the planet, but when you stop working you stop growing. The method that I teach people gets past the whole idea of selling, because you are able to build a business by finding others who want to be able to stay at home and earn an income on their own terms.
One of the background ideas that makes the whole process work is that we make a connection with people. This isn't about trying to make a fit for every person that comes along. Some people will take to this business model and other will not. For the ones who are ready, we are here to support them by telephone and by email. We do not charge for this personal training. If you are person in my organization you will receive the same training that has brought success to so many others.
How do we train people?
The training takes place by telephone and by email. A new person is first interviewed to make sure that they are clear on how the business works and it also gives us a chance to see if this is the kind of person that will fit in with our organization. We don't expect everyone to be a "Cheery Charlie", but a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference in your own life are absolutely necessary. We actually help people find these attributes within themselves as they progress through the training.
After the initial phone meeting, if it has turned out to be good a fit for everyone involved, follow up material is provided by email. Training to the next step progresses when both the student and the coach feel that the student is ready. That way the student is never overwhelmed with material and the coach knows where the student is in their professional development.
Our process lets people work from home and develop their business during the time they have available. Since meetings are done over the telephone by appointment, and training is done by telephone and email, business are built in time slices of as little as fifteen minutes. This process is perfect for busy professionals.
When I began this business I was operating a small electrical engineering corporation. It was great income, but the hours and travel were keeping me away from my home and family. Since then I have been able to develop an income as well as choose the hours I work. This gives me the freedom to take time out during the day to spend with my family or go out on a training ride. After experiencing this kind of time freedom and choice, you will not want to go back to working for someone else or just trading time for money.
As my life progresses I am doubly blessed to have the opportunity to have a son and to be able to raise him with my wife. Because of a network marketing opportunity that allows me to work from home, I am able to become one of a growing number of stay-at-home dads. We don't have to worry about sending our son to daycare because one of us will always be available to be with him.
What is the "right kind" of person?
The key to achieving success in network marketing, and truly in any challenging endeavor, is know your "core desire". This is the thing that will help you overcome each obstacle that will come in your way. Oh, by the way, if you've heard that you will never meet an obstacle then someone is being less than truthful with you. Some people do have an easier time than others, but we all have our obstacles to face. When we forge ahead and break through to another level of our own accomplishment, that is when we see growth both personally and professionally.
If a person has desire, any obstacle can be overcome, whether it's financial resources, time resources, personal talent, whatever. If I meet a person who shows that they have this desire, then I can provide them with the tools to overcome these challenges.
"Is that it?"
This has been a fairly "no frills" overview of what my organization has to offer. I am purposely not "flashy". There are a lot of tricks, gimmicks, graphics and web presentations that try to get people fired up and ready to jump off of a bridge if they were asked to. I'm not asking anyone to jump off of bridges. The company I represent and the training process I teach are solid and help people find the freedoms that they are looking for when they look at network marketing as a way to do something different in their lives.
